Diploma Evaluation Worksheet

Attendance at graduation rehearsal is mandatory to walk in the ceremony.

Rehearsal begins at 10am the morning of graduation. It will be in the sanctuary at The Church at Wills Creek. The purpose of rehearsal is to stage graduation and familiarize our graduates with the layout and what will be expected of them.

Please bring your graduation apparel to rehearsal, you will leave it there when you leave from rehearsal. You may come dressed casual for the rehearsal.

 Rehearsal lasts about 1 hour, and we will start promptly at 10am. Seniors will be allowed to leave after rehearsal but will be required to return by 1pm to get dressed for the ceremony. Once they return, they will not be allowed to leave their staging area before the ceremony. Parents and friends will not be allowed into the senior’s staging area.

Graduation Day Dress Code

We ask that graduates dress comfortably in business casual style attire. NO SHORTS! No blue jeans. Guys should wear collared shirts. Exposed tattoos are not allowed and only one small facial piercing is allowed. Please do not wear any clothing that will be embarrassing to your family or Pathways Academy administration when your gown is removed. Please wear shoes you can comfortably stand in for prolonged periods of time and climb stairs while wearing. Most importantly, no tennis shoes, flip flops, athletic slides or beach sandals are allowed.

Please consider wearing a hairstyle that will allow for wearing a graduate cap. (Grad caps will be worn flat on the head, not sticking up.) Hair pins are not recommended for use because graduates toss their caps at the end of the ceremony.
